Why a journal

Hi, My name is Theresa Marie, but growing up everyone called me Teri. My life is complicated and uncertain. I am blessed with two beautiful children, both just graduated from college. I have known for years when they graduated, I would need to make changes in my life or I would have to surrender what is left of me. So this is a journal of me trying to find, well, me. It’s a journey that scares me, but I am hoping to find peace and happiness. I prayed and sought God’s guidance to begin this journey and trusting he will see me through it. A bit about me, I am 53 years old and in the final stages of a divorce. I still share a house with my ex because I can’t afford to move out. My wonderful daughter is bipolar, has P.T.S.D., and suffers from suicidal ideation which brings its own challenges. I have an amazing son who is caring and stubborn. Both my children are the light of my life (cliche I know). Some of my posts may be long; some will be short, maybe even just one word. Some will make sense while others won’t to anyone but me. It will be my journey to becoming Teri again.
